Rewards

To be honest, I've always been a little confused about how it works.

Do you only every get one reward per ranch, or is it per upgrade, or what?

Per 1 year upgrade >.>

So when you upgrade for a year, you get the reward. 6months won't get you the reward. Dunno about what happens if you do 6mos now and 6mos later on the same account, but if you want to know, I'm sure I can hunt someone down who knows xD

So does it restart like the days if your sponsor runs out? Or can you still collect say a year two reward next time?

I think I have gotten the rewards doing 6 months and then 6 months on top of it... if I don't let it lapse between (not sure what happens then)... course you also only get the 6 year reward once (If I remember right).

If the sponsor returns to a novice and then get's upgraded again, it gets reset to a 1st year reward.

I figured that, but still sad... that means my second oldest account is going to go back to the first year reward this year. :(

It's the reason why I've kept my older accounts going over younger accounts. I've got some box dye rewards this year >D

So we can only get the box dyes once on one account? My first sponsor expires in 2012, and i was able to get the dye. If i upgrade it for another year i can't get another dye? =[

Every time you upgrade a year, you get rewards. The current one, and all the past ones.

So Kacy, when you upgrade next, you'll have the box dye options. I don't know if there's plans to make another set of rewards (of anything) past the 6 year level, as there's 18 different dye options :)

What about lifetime accounts? I know I had to email Nef every time she added a new veteran reward to have them reset, but would I be able to do that once a year? Also, is there any way to tell how old my account is? 'cause... I have no idea when the next year would start.

Eh, my sponsors have usually gone down to novice and says renew, I renew them and then I get the next year rewards like Im supposed to.
I always renew with 1 year upgrades tho.
Im always afraid to renew them before they expire so I wont lose any days xD as in if I see my account expires 1st of January, I will wait til first of January and then upgrade, if that makes any sence. and not like week before. So it would be renewd earlier.
I am no longer able to play the game due to real life commitments. I would like to thank all my friends for the past 11 years on VHR. xx

That would be something to ask and negotiate with Nef xD

Aniara, I was under the impression that it reset, but I could be wrong. I purposely upgrade normally at least 6mo in advance, so I don't get caught out xD
