Ok, I think we've got some terms confused here

Rolling is the process of lowering the percentages in order to change the stat titles to a higher one (example: Extraordinary > Amazing). Only the highest stat and the lowest stats (the actuals, the ones in the brackets) will roll. In order to roll, you have to train at least ONCE in Teamwork (note: training more than twice in this will raise Endurance), Enrage or Treat Injury. Just once works

Now, training in anything else (so excluding Teamwork (remembering the note above), Enrage or Treat Injury) will result in one or more stat actuals rising. Sometimes a stat title will roll higher by training up the actuals, however normally what players want is the higher actual rather than to roll the stat title this way.
So, what I believe you want to do is to roll the stat title correct? Not the actual stat? Then make sure the two stats you want rolled in the correct order (lowest stat will roll MORE than the highest stat), then train in Teamwork, Enrage OR Treat Injury once per turn.
Make sense?
