ABOUT THE STABLES

Welcome to Sweep Picking Stables where we breed some of the finest horses on VHR. We currently breed Tennessee Walking Horses, and the horses of the Metal Militia. However we are in the process of opening up several different stables including an All Breed Stud Ranch, and a Retirement Showcase Ranch.


The history of this stable starts in 2004 as Longshadow Ranch. Those where simple days when I had absolute no clue about maxing, rolling, or competing. I started out breeding Standardbreds. It wasn't until a good 6 months after upgrading to a sponser that I figured out how to max. Since then I have done many breeds including all the warmbloods, many sport breeds, and most stock breeds.

ABOUT ME

My name is Columbia, that is not my real name but just an alias. My life revolves around Horses and Music. I own a 10 year old Quarter Horse mare named Racheal, and have ridden for well over 12 years in both english and western. As far as music I am a proud metalhead, my 3 favorite bands are Avenged Sevenfold, Motley Crue, and Pantera. No I am not a fangirl like 99% of fans of Avenged Sevenfold, and do not wish to talk to people who are. I also have started playing the guitar, and am coming along pretty well with it. Last but not least I am a college student, I will be studying Audio Production.

Horses of the Metal Militia

I have created a breed called Metal Militias. Their BC so far is S/VG/F/EX. Please do not ask if they are for sale, I will only be allowing a select few of my friends have. They are my babies.

A horse of the Metal Militia has the looks and gait of the Tennessee Walker with the height of the Shire. Due to this they are able to Seek & Destroy their opponents going long distances with little to no exhaustion of the rider they are carrying. The height merely serves as a scare tactic in battle.

Children of the Damned Walker Project

We have 3 different groups of Walker horses that we are currently working on. They include the impure(subdivided in normal and tall heights), and the pure.

The impure consist of lines that do not only consist of TWHs. They are subdivided into 2 categories- Tall and Normal height. Our Tall horses are usually from 16-18 hands or so tall. We only have a few categorized as such, but they are our pet project. Normal horses stay at a height around mid 15 hands or so.

Our Pure Horses, only consist of TWH blood all the way to foundies. They are always of normal height. We so far only have 1 Foundy stallion, but we are working on this.

Policy on graphics: I am still fairly new to coloring lineart, I DO NOT MAKE THEM, and you must keep credits to me and Bara(or any other artist) on the lineart. Personalized pictures and banners are simple manips, they do not include colorings, and I will use pictures that are free for use. I may refuse to do an animation as it must either be simple, such as words flashing, or already made such as the death bat on my layout picture. Keep in mind animated banners are of less quality in their appearence due to it being a GIF image.
