Our Horses
LUSITANO
The Malraia line is one of the most ancient Lusitano lines in the game, and one of the few that remains active. We’ve been breeding Lusitanos since 2004, and pure stock since 2005. The foundation stock of our lines descended from Evermore lines, but later on, when the ranch grew and became more influent, we acquired our own stock, having nowadays an army of foundies and pure horses we can call our own.
In the past non-inbreeding was impossible if we wanted to keep purity, but our goal became larger, and now it is not only to train them to a new level of excellence and break their b/c, with the help of the new bonuses, but also to prevent inbreeding, and that's why we are constantly checking for some new purebreds to add to ours.
This is what keeps these horses special and so important for the game, the fact that their own history holds hands with the very history of Malraia, and the fact that we can call them the more charismatic Lusitano stock in the game.
SORRAIA
We can proudly say that our Sorraias are the only pure Sorraia line on the game.
We’ve put lots of effort on this breed for personal reasons, and the main goal is to improve them on VHR, either in eventing or breeding.
Sorraias only appear in 2 colours in real life: Baio and Rato (baio means bay in portuguese, and that's the designation we give to yellow dun, and rato means mouse, and that's the designation we give to mouse dun, sorraia's only 2 colours), and this line is built of these two colours, only, goodie dyed horses.
There is too much to improve yet, but somewhat they are starting to earn their place in the game.
