Welcome to Willow Ranch. Established in late 2008, we have from the beginning held a high focus on the show, sport and warbmlod breeds of VHR. In later years that focus has also included a few gaited breeds. Our goal is to breed and event top horses! We have a whole range of different breeding projects for various breeds all with the focus on breeding pure and highly eventable horses. There are four main divisions of Willow Ranch, each devoted to a different breed type; Frostrøyk Acres for the show breeds, Castiana farms for the warmbloods, Icarus Acres for the sport horses, and Katana Acres for the gaited breeds. Several of these have their own little sub-divisions as well, like the DARK division of Frostrøyk Acres, and Route of Ages Thoroughbreds which is a part of Icarus Acres. We have both public and private lines, as well as quite a few private breeds! You'll find more information on those further down!

We have quite a few projects going on here at Willow Ranch, but these are a few of them. The DARK Project This project is one we have been working on for quite a while. Its goal, to create high quality non-inbred pure show horses with eventing in mind. All the DARK lines are at this point private, and will stay that way for the forseable future. All lines start with 16 foundation pairs as well. The four current DARK lines are: Dark Paragon Friesians, Dark Storm Lippizaners, Dark Avalon Andalusians, and Dark Exodus Aztecas.   Route of Ages Thoroughbreds The goal of this project is to create a pure line of TBs bred for eventing in Foxhunting and Racing. The lines is fouded on eight foundation pairs, and all the breeding stock will be evented as well. The first gens were part of a trainoff in 2011/2012, the Outer Space Trainoff, to get the eventing of the ground. I am currently finishing eventing the first gens, and will after that breed out the second generation and start eventing those.
