Whats the difference...

Have a technical question you can't find the answer to in FAQ's? Ask it here. Game problem questions that do NOT pertain to things like training advice, what would my horse do well in, how much is it worth.

The thing about all the lines being "pure" is for specific breeds. German warmbloods and Gypsy Drums can't be crossbred with anything, it'll turn out as a grade, so they are automatically pure.

There's no difference between foundy and pure lines...

I think they were speaking of breeds such as Arabians that can't be had any way except out of an Arabian pair. In other words, by claiming an Arabian is pure, you're stating the obvious since no Arabian is impure or has any other breed of horse in it's line. This is relating just to the "Arabian", not the Shangya or the other other breeds of Arabian out there, I don't think. There's a couple breeds like this in game, though I don't know which ones they are.

A lot of players, even some that should know better, say they have pure lines when in fact they don't. If the sire and dam of the foal is only of one breed (whatever breed) then they consider the horse they have to be 'pure'. They don't check the grand parent lines which is where cross breeding will show up.

Yeah, not bad mouthing or anything, but that club with the club banner with the paint herd running across says it only accepts "pure" horses only, yet I look at most of the horses and they will have paints as parents, and have Thoroughbreds as grandparents.

Best thing to do is ALWAYS check the lines yourself. Dont rely on what the comments say. xD
