Differnce between a novice and Sponcer stat max

Postby Em N Em » Sun Jul 31, 2011 9:08 pm

What is the Differnce between a novice and Sponcer stat max? How do I no if a horse is stat maxed? Also where can I find a cheap stat maxer? I have 20k left but would like to event him... Last thing I bought this thoroughbred for 80k is he a good horse that will do good in racing or in a different event? Thanks

(if you couldn't tell before I'm REALLY new)

There aren't two different stat maxes. Novices cannot stat max in a reasonable amount of time, sponsors can. That's the difference. "Stat maxed" means strength, intelligence, speed, and endurance are all over 200 (number in parentheses, NOT the percentage) and movement and surefootedness are at 215 and 225, respectively.

Stat maxed horse (can be any age, this one is just an example):

Not stat maxed horse:

Ok, and do you no if my horse will do gold in racing? Also if I want to train or event on horse and not age other horses where can I put the horse I don't want to age?

Any horses in the pasture will not age. :D

To do well in events, a horse needs to be event trained, which means the stats required for a certain event need to be higher. Stat maxing will not make your horse do well in events. So for racing (these stats are based on a thoroughbred), a horse should have strength at 202, intelligence unmaxed is fine, speed at 208+, and endurance at 209. Movement and surefoot also need to be at 215 and 225, respectively. This should all be by age 5. If your horse does not have close to those stats, I'm afraid it just won't do well. :( The competition will have those stats.

Does pasturing a horse do anything bad for it?

No. Although I'd vaccine it, as I think they can get West Nile Virus?

The ones in the pasture cannot get WNV (that I'm aware of).

WNV happens when you take a turn, if a horse isn't turned, because it's in pasture, it won't get West Nile
