Bonuses not working?

So my bonuses worked fantastically for breeding and training, but now I have switched them all to match my competitors' bonuses so my horses wouldn't be at a disadvantage. Now I have pretty much the same exact bonuses as the competition, and my horses have either equal or better stats than the competition but they still don't place. :/

When Livelifelow was eventing him he placed all the time! Then when I started eventing him he wouldn't place unless he was in extremely tailored events that would barely fill.. :/ Now I know this might just be because of his age but there are horses his age still competing and placing..

I trained her yesterday and entered her in some events. She has better stats than the horse that came in 1st! Idk what happened... and I have the same bonuses as the horse that placed 1st in her events..

While your horses mood says "very hyper" it is not quite enough

On your last turn of entering, train x6, enter your last 4 events then meth x3 (sometimes its two but I never remember when so I always use 3) turn your horse then cure its condition. Trial it in barrels and it should say 660. Then just let it sit. I think you should see a very definite time improvement

What happens is, and this only happens to hyper horses, when you train your meth level drops below the maximum. So you have to re-boost before their events run. It's easiest to do that at the very end of a turn. If they are still not maxxed due to some reason, then they need to have another turn. Mething must always be done after you train for the turn though, otherwise it will just bottom out again *sigh* All hyper horses that do not have enough meth will show that distinct time break in their events.

And I just use the barrel trial to test with because its on the top of the list lol. I think endurance test should say 440 if you use that one.
