I don't think it's needed. :) If someone is a scammer, they're taken care of, plain and simple. If someone scammed you, report it on Orbis Worlds.

No, no and no. Even though they scammed or supposedly(one person's word against another someone could be lying and it might not be the supposed scammer) they don't deserve to have the name in a list thusly opening them up for harassment. Its what Scammer List generally degrade down to, a list of people that will wind up harassed/bullied by other players for being dishonest e_e

Not only do we not need one, if you start one and it is discovered by the Ops, you run the risk of having your account suspended.

From the terms of service:

Prohibited Conduct
PLAYER MAY NOT USE THE VHR SERVICES TO:
1. Harass, threaten or embarrass another Player of the Services or to cause distress, unwanted attention or discomfort of such Player, or any other person or entity.

4. Transmit any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, obscene, vulgar, harassing, and defamatory, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable content.

What do you mean by "ripping people off?" Charging too much for horses or training? If so, that's their business. If they are actually scamming people out of money or horses, they need to be reported and taken care of PRIVATELY.

Having a scammer list reminds me of something a middle schooler would do. I understand that you wouldn't want someone else to be scammed, BUT, it is, for one, a player's responsibility to check things out before they give someone their money or horses and protect themselves from being scammed, and it is also the duty of the ops to take care of people who do scam.

The whole thing would just be inappropriate and far below the maturity level of this game and its players.

In a case like that, you should always get the person to post the name of the account the bid/contract will come from. =)

Yeah that's shady but it still falls under your responsibility as a player to check out stuff before you just blindly accept bids. I always double check with the bidder to make sure it's their correct username and the bid is from the correct account.
