Speed not going up:

I have a Mule who's speed capped at 202.something. With the new changes I still can not get speed to go up unless it gets a random hit. I have tried Speed Laps, Endy, XC, Cattle Work and none of them work. Its confusing me cause with the new changes I was hoping it would go up more.

isnt 202 the cap for average? So now it will only gain on the random breed bonus hit.

Not with the new cap. it can still go up just not as much. the new cap is 252. its not going up at all.

but i thought it could now only go up on the random breed bonus hit? Once it hits the soft cap you cant "make" it gain. Its random.

It still goes up just slower. Like with endy if I train in endy I can get it to go up by .015 each turn. Same with strength. Intel keeps going up after it passes its soft cap by .01 with halter. Speed is the only one I'm noticing not doing that.

Maybe. that is why i'm asking around. seeing if its happening to anyone else or what not. or if its suppose to be like that.

hrm, I thought I noticed this while entering a horse in sprint events too... but I was half asleep and not paying THAT much attention...

Judging from what my horses have been doing it looks like it acts normal up to the soft cap (basically it stops going up and the .02 random stat is the only thing moving it) then after a certain point it starts going up pretty fast again like it would when the stat was super low. I'm not sure that's how it is meant to be working though..
