what is a night horse and what is a groningen?

I don't know that this is the kind of question that requires 'help', probably would make more sense in VHR Discussion...

But, a night horse is a fictional draft breed in the game that you can get foundy pairs of through the 2nd year 'gift' on a sponsor account (so the pair that you can pick after you upgrade an account for your second year). Of course you can purchase any for sale on the market at any time, that is just how new foundies are introduced to the game.

A groningen is a real breed type of horse= http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groningen_horse that in VHR is a sport type I believe.

There are plenty of night horses up for stud, and usually plenty of night horses for sale on the market, so I don't understand your question...

You would get a grade stock foal since they are not cross breedable and the stallion is a stock breed

(nightmare horses are someone's private breed, and private breeds can't be cross bred, other than to make grade horses)

The chances of getting a stallion are much lower than getting a mare, unless you are a Sponsor player with the correct breeding skills. So for arguments sake lets say 75% chance of getting a mare, 25% chance of getting a stallion.
