HELP!!!

I totally messed up something and now I am wondering.
What in the world do people mean when they have " Coloring Contest "? What is coloring, and what is lineart?

Coloring is coloring line art. Line art is just the outline of an image, like a coloring book page. Some people here think "line art" means lines + color, which it's not. So when you're looking at contests to enter and it says "line art," it's best you ask if they mean line art + colors or JUST the lines. Make sense? :)
