In need of an update

Have a technical question you can't find the answer to in FAQ's? Ask it here. Game problem questions that do NOT pertain to things like training advice, what would my horse do well in, how much is it worth.

In need of an update

Postby finduviel » Sat Jan 16, 2010 4:20 pm

I'm back after being gone for a couple of years due to studies, and a have a few questions I hope you can answer :) I was trying to enter chat, but it didn't seem to be working so I'll ask here.

I am wondering about pasture, can I truly keep my competition horses there as if it was a holding ranch? I mean, will it not affect the horses' stats negatively at all as I take turns?

I read about the "new" changes (new to me anyway), player experience. I guess I need to keep training, eventing and breeding one horse to get my experience up? I mean instead of risking my good competitors to place poorly because of low experience.

I also upgraded to sponsor again and hoping for it to take effect soon because I can't wait to start playing seriously again ;)

In the pasture your horses will not age or be adversely affected, they will cost you a small sum of money each turn for feeding, but that is all.

In my opinion you are right and should probably not put your good horses out in competition until you build up your player bonuses (if you run a few simply leveled horses in gymkhana for a while your player experience levels should go up pretty quickly, and you will probably make some money off of it as well.) I just purchase super cheap level 25 horses off of the market when I want to level an account and have them run Gym non stop until I have all of my points.

Thank you! :) I think I will build up bonuses by picking up on my many projects like the help a novice project, friesian- and lippy improvement program, if my old horses are still good for it. I'll probably try to get better at disciplines I didn't care about before too :) Lots of things happened since I was away, so it'll take me some time to catch up :)

Still waiting for my upgrade... :)

You can also raise your levels very quickly by eventing in Gymkhana. And hey, you make lots of money too =P
