Gelding question?

Postby Elena18 » Wed Apr 15, 2009 7:18 pm

I was wondering if gelding a horse in the game actually does anything for it eventing-wise. Like, I know that gelding/spaying in real life sometimes improves showing performance... just wondering... :)

Nope, no affect on eventing.

Slightly OT but. Making a "gelding deed" costs a tonne of playcash, comparative to other vet things anyways, yet spaying a mare (which IRL is far less common than castrating a colt, since it is MUCH more invasive and because the difference in temperament between an intact mare and a spayed mare is less glaring and polarized than that of a gelding versus an intact stud) is TOTALLY FREE.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat. Seriously????? Seriously??!?!!

Little bit stupid, IMO. ;)
