PB Requests

Postby livelifelow » Sun Jul 04, 2010 10:14 am

If we requested something on a PB and didn't get it, can we send in a ticket to have that added? I requested that mine not break stride in harness, but they do. I've seen other PBs that don't break stride and an Op PB go from breaking stride to not doing so.

I have wondered about this myself as I really had a breed that I wanted to make, but it's a Harness breed (and only a harness breed) and I have not yet been willing to order it because I am afraid that it will break gait... which would totally mess up the whole point of the breed for me... let me know if you figure out that it can be changed... I would be VERY interested!

If your PB is definitely a harness racing breed, you can certainly put in a request to have it not break stride in the harness events :) Just put in a ticket to support and we'll see that it gets Nef's attention.
The only way I would think it wouldn't be granted is if it wasn't primarily a harness racing breed, just as an example-- If you've asked for your breed to have track racing stats, and then ask that it not break stride.

Ah, so a non-real PB has little to no shot. That explaination makes perfect sense too, wouldn't want to see a TB variation crushing the lovely Standies. I can definitely live with just playing with my Standie hoard. Thanks for the response Rising :D

You're welcome :) Doesn't necessarily have to be a "real breed"...just must have similar stats to a harness racing breed, not the stats of a track racer. Sorry didn't mean to cause a misunderstanding.

Yeah, I was going to ask to have mine have stats similar to either a standy or fin horse... and explain why and what I wanted to use them for... but at least my 'example' horses already don't break gait so I figured it was a good place to start... plus it would not be creating a 'harness superhorse' lol, which I Think Nef probably tries to avoid with most PBs as it just wouldn't be fair.

I am still more nervous about asking for mine now though. :(

But in real life it is the only thing the breed that I want is used for. lmao.... quite literally.
