Horses don't age in the pasture?

Since when do horses not age when they're in the pasture? I'm not complaining, I stuck them in there since I'm not training them right now. (I was to lazy to ship them to another account that I never take turns on.) And I went back to look and he's still nine years old. Not even 9.000001 after about ten turns. Cool. Anyway, when did that change?

It changed sometime in 2009, I think. Early 2009? I don't really remember. xD It's been quite a while though.

Was before then because it was that way when I started and that was at least three years ago

When I first started playing it was that way and that was 3 to 3.5 years ago...

I've been playing since '04 and I remember when you took turns the page used to come up and it would have Stabled Horses and Pastured Horses displayed. And I think the horses in the pasture had lower energy. That's what I get for leaving my ranch alone for so long. lol.
