Events becoming more random

Are reining events becoming even more random? It seems like just in the last few months they are becoming very messed up.

I have felt like there was more randomness in MANY events lately, but I haven't figured out if it's something that I am doing, something bonus related (to mine or other competitors) or if it's totally my imagination... *sighs*

yeah it feels like events are really wacky right now. I look at the competitors bonuses to just make sure and they are really no different from what I have and some of the horses beating mine are poorer stated

I can't figure it out either... just trying to go with the flow right now as my horses aren't exactly "failing"... but I have noticed some... oddities in eventing that I don't remember from before. Of course, I have to keep in mind that I am technically pretty new to eventing. lol.

HEY! Total hijack, but that reminds me, in February it will be my second year anniversary playing VHR!

I agree :(

SJ is becoming very, very wacky. Even in WB-only events >.< I've pulled my lot out of eventing temporarily because of it D:

I don't know if my horses just suck and I'm being overly sensitive; but I've noticed my dressage horses bouncing around a lot too..

YUP

Dressage is BAD. As im sure it is with many others.
Most horses beating mine are poorer statted and the percentage are so low, i used to hit 50% placing rate, now im lucky if i get 40%. Ive been thinking of asking about it, but then found this thread. Is it the bonus's? I mean, i think before the bonus's was a better time to event, and after the bonus's is when things got wacky. but they are getting even worse. mine barely place at all now, like 2 out of 10 are in the money. yet other players can still get 50% W/P/S. why?

I think it should be looked into.

What I thought explained this was that all of the horses are pretty evenly matched, and well trained, and therefore the events seem more random because the random factor in the events makes more of a difference when the field is even - do you guys think it is something more than that going on?
