Goodie Dye Question

What is the best way to go about buying a goodie dye for another player? Thought this might be a good question to ask since my train-off will be coming to a close soon and I thought it might be a good idea to know before then lol. I always thought that buying their horse then selling it back would be the way to do it, but there has to be some other easier way...

Generally, for a trainoff, the winner will send you the horse they want dyed on a contract. I would ask them to put the color they want in the notes. You purchase the color and send the horse back to them. I always put the reciept number in the horse's notes as well as in a bookmark and check them every day to make sure they got it.

The reason I put the receipt number in the notes is basically so if there is a problem, the person who's supposed to get the color can follow up if for some reason I'm not able to.
