Welcome To Greenwood

Welcome To Greenwood
.About The Farm.
Welcome to Greenwood! My name is Erin, I live in Australia and own an aged Appaloosa gelding named Epi.These are pictures I took of him (above). I'm sorry they're all in a line, but I don't know enough about code to change it. The photos were taken at the property where I agist him, mostly in the washbay ;) This is the main facility of Greenwood and where I spend most of my time. I am proud to be an associate of Evenstar Farms.
.My Horses.
I mostly work with Drafts and Ponies, particularly Gypsy Vanners. Currently I am working to obtain (when I am not distracted by other things) a 14hh Gypsy Vanner. My other ranches are as follows: Little Ones of Greenwood, Sport horses of Greenwood, Gypsies of Greenwood, Thoroughbreds/Racers of Greenwood, Drafts of Greenwood, Holding/ Sales of Greenwood and The Gilded Leaf. I have a number of fully trained stallions (and some that are maxxed but not yet levelled) across my ranches. They range in price from 1 to 10k, occasionally more for a really special horse, like a foundation or rare coloured one. If you breed from a Greenwood horse, whether owned by me or by another player please DO NOT use Greenwood in the name of the foal. Thank you.
.Services.
Training is Available- BUT I get busy, and I can't always be on VHR. I can promise to do a good job, but I can't promise to do it quickly. To try and prevent big, time consuming waiting lists there is a limit of 2 horses per player. If you want more than 2 done then the extra horses have to go to the back of the line, no matter how long it is.
~PRICES~ are as follows:
#1. Horse is trained to Level 15 and maxxed in one appropriate stat, eg: racing and speed, driving and strength, dressage and intelligence. 10k
#2. Horse is stat maxxed, with endurance, movement and surefoot capped, but is not levelled. 20k
#3. Horse is stat maxxed with endurance, movement and surefoot capped, and trained to Level 15. Includes shoes. 30k
#4. Horse is stat maxxed, without capping, and I will try to roll its stats until it is 18 years of age. 50k Please note that even the best trainers can't always tell how a horse's stats might roll- and I've never claimed to be the best. I will do my best, and if my best isn't good enough for you then you'll have to find someone else.
I do not give refunds.
If you wish for me to train your horse please message me first and let me know. Make out the contract to player 79775, with what you want (including the discipline you want if you're getting levelling) in the notes. Please make sure that there at least 500 turns on the contract, 'cos nothing annoys me more than mucking around when contracts run out early. If you're getting rolling 999 turns would be good (pedantic, aren't I?)
Be patient- I will try and finish your horse as fast as possible, and hassling me about it only makes me grumpy too.
Guess what? I am now trialling doing hand-drawn pics for the public! I have withheld this service until now because my scanner is cheap and bad and frequently ruins pictures I would otherwise be quite proud of (they're not master pieces but occasionally I get a good one ;) BUT I now have a camera which I can use to take pictures of my drawings and upload them into the computer. However, I cannot use the camera to add text and the like, so I will still do my best with the scanner and only if the results are unsatisfactory will I add text in by hand (I can do nice calligraphy when I really try hard ;) and use the camera to get the picture into the computer.

A lineart drawing (just black and white) of the horse will cost 150k. If you really like I can make the text coloured. Text will include the name, gender and breed of the horse. If there is room I can add a short comment.

I can also do watercolours, though they are more complex and therefore more easily ruined. The scanner is frequently unkind to them and the camera can be too. They are also very simplistic even before I mangle them with the computer (to try and reduce chances of mangling- it sometimes even works!) A head-shot done in watercolour will be 250k, and a full horse will be 350k.

The rules regarding the pictures are as follows: I am not a mind reader- if you ask me for a 350k chestnut arabian trotting you will get my interpretation of that. Once I have gone to all the trouble of completing the picture and putting it on the web I recquire payment even if you decide you no longer like the picture (though with any luck such a thing will never happen) as I have given time, effort and money in the form of materials to do this for you. I will sign each and every picture, most frequently over a part of the horse itself, like a water mark. You may not remove or cover this signature. If you are purchasing a lineart that you would like to colour yourself just let me know and I can out the signature somewhere out of your way. The picture is only for use on the horse for which it was made. You may not use it on a different horse or WORSE try to get playcash by selling it to someoen else. Remember, I can easily take it off the net if I find you breaking any of these rules- Mwa ha ha ha ha ha! Ahem. But I'm a nice person and hopefully you are too, so we won't have any problems at all. I do, just to be annoying though, retain the right to use any poses/linearts that I have drawn within another picture if I so choose- but because of the text, and because I like things to be individual I probably won't do that.
Also (I know, I know, I'm sorry) on the issue of colours- If you cannot provide me with an example of what the colour looks like then you must leave the interpretation of it up to me- and I can't do roan at the moment. Sorry.
.News.
I now have a custom colour of my own- Dark Bay with Liver Dapples! It has first been put on my ASH mare Greenwood R.I.P Georgie Girl. I hope to get more custom colours in the future, so stay tuned ;) Yay! I now have 2 new custom colours! The first is Ghost Gum Grey, which I have put on my foundy Waler stallion, The Colt From Old Regret. The second is Blue Roan with Black Points, which is on my foundy Waler mare, Spinifex. I also, have you may have realised, have 2 new foundies! Yay! Lol. I will attempt to paint/draw them each a nice picture so that you can see how these colours are meant to look. I have another colour! This one is Golden Palomino Tobiano and is on ~My~Fair~Lady~.
.Other.
I do occasionally buy cheap(ish) foals and stat max/level them to sell on at reasonable prices. When I have time- which isn't very often.
