At Fresh Start Stables, horses don't get a second, third, or fourth chance. They get a new chance, a fresh start, a chance to begin again - for good. I look for horses (right now mainly draft breeds) that have no "millionnaire" or any other popularly sought bloodlines. I look for the drafts that need a place to start their bloodlines over.
All my horses will begin training/breaking in immediately. They will all specialize in a career appropriate for their personalities. I want nothing but the best for them.
My promise to these horses is that they will never be bred or sold to anyone who just wants another horse. If they are to be bred, it will be for bloodline improvement only. Therefore, I will not list any as available for stud. Furthermore, if a horse has been bred a ridiculously large amount of times, they will be sterlized. My horses will not be sold to any ranch other than those specializing in improving the bloodlines by training their horses to succeed in specialties. One more thing - if you can no longer care for any horses you have foaled or bought from Fresh Start, you must release or retire them in lieu of selling or auctioning.
