Slaughter In Real Life !!!!READ THIS!!!!! (*(*(*(*(* THIS IS WHAT REALLY HAPPENS TO THOSE POOR INNOCENT HORSES *)*)*)*)*) Before shipping California horses to slaughter houses in Texas as far away as Canada, the horses are placed into over-crowded holding pens many times standing in disease infested muck. Often sick, the horses are crammed into double-decked cattle trucks. Without sufficient room to hold their heads upright, they travel for 36 hours through summer heat or brutal winter cold without stopping for rest, food or water. At the slaughter house, the horse is electrically prodded into the "kill box" to be repeatedly bludgeoned in the skull by a dead-bolt gun with a four-inch nail. Alive, and often conscious, the horse is then shackled by a rear leg, hoisted into the air, its throat slit and body dismembered. No horse is spared this ordeal. These hungry, dehydrated, fatigued, and terrified horses include not only the old, sick, blind, and crippled, but the young and healthy, our children's pets, mares with helpless foals standing at their side, and our wild mustangs. ARE WE GOING TO LET THIS HAPPEN!!! NO!!! PUT THIS ON YOUR PAGE AND SAVE THOSE POOR HORSES! Most stable buddy requests will be accepted UNLESS you are a Believer in or are a slaughter house!!!!!! When you were scared I was there for you. One day at, what you thought was the most important race of your life, I missed the jump then the turn. It wasn’t my fault that you were scared and jumpy. I fell and you flew over my head and onto the dirt. My legs were skinned up and my nose was bleeding. They took me away to an auction. There were horses ranging from colts and fillies to mares and stallions. I was scared and then before I knew it I was being thrown into a trailer filled with sick, dying, old, and young horses. Hours past and I was kicked and thrown all over the trailer. When we finally got to our destination all of us were herded into a pasture full mares and their babies, stallions, and geldings. Many of the horses could barely stand but some like the babies were running around and trying to break free out of the pasture. One by one all through the night horses went into a shack and didn’t come out all everyone heard was a scream of pain then sad silence. I went two days no food or water and then all of a sudden a mare and foal that I had grown near to were led into the shack. The mare knew what was about to happen but the foal didn’t. The next thing I knew there was a cry of pain and then silence. The foal was scared and then the foal went into the shack and the same thing happened to him. Next it was my turn I tried to fight but it was no use I was too hungry, tired and weak. They grabbed me and took me to a spot in the shack. The smell of blood was surrounding my nose. Then a man picked up a small nail gun and pointed it to my head. The pain was to strong to bear and I collapsed and couldn’t move. Half dead they skinned my beautiful grey coat off and I died after that. I could have been a great jumping horse for some one but you didn’t make it happen that way. I am dead now along with other abused and killed horses that could have had a chance too. SAVE A HORSE FROM SLAUGHTER AND ABUSE! Don’t let a horse die like me! You can help…..
