I am sure like most people, you already wandered through the ranch, skipped reading the layout, then went: why are there no Thoroughbreds man?! Unlike our namesake, this Claiborne Farms does not deal primarily in those tiny footed fast running beasties. As a division of Duke Ranch, Claiborne Farms is entirely focused on event training and eventing. All of Duke Ranch’s current eventing stock is housed at this farm. Take a look around, check out some horses, but remember: If it’s not listed for sale, IT’S NOT FOR SALE!

Our Focus

Work spares us from three evils: boredom, vice, and need

Through the years, Claiborne has seen many changes in structure, but it has always ultimately been focused on event training and eventing. The event focus has changed these days and pretty much every breed can be found at this farm which has ultimately led to a very well founded farm. If it jumps, chases cows, or just wants to make some attempt to be useful - it will be here eventing.

Due to the nature of this farm (eventing + event training) there are a range of services offered to the public. These can be referred to below and by following any of the linked forum posts.

Finding the best in every horse

Open to all novices. Check out the ranch for more in-depth details, but this is essentially a program placing event trained horses into novice hands. If you would like one of these horses, you need to show proof you have set yourself up for success.

We all need a leg up sometimes

Open to new novices only. This program is set in place to help you get started into the game. The horse will be roll prepped so that you can start entering gym events, earn some money, and learn about rolling. Limit 5 per player
