Welcome to Icefire! We've been established for many a year, however almost all services are put on hold at this time while I organise and run my annual Christmas in July celebration :D
This celebration is in it's fourth year running and previously just consisted of a massive giveaway. This year that is set to change, and as such I have little time or motivation to do much of anything other than it :)

Christmas in July!
So, many of you are probably thinking what on EARTH is Christmas in July? Well, in essence it is a celebration of Christmas . . . in July. It is of course, a much smaller celebration than the true Christmas :) So why am I celebrating it?
Now, many of you know I am an Australian. Christmas for Aussielanders is in the middle of summer. Temperatures are typically between 30C/86F and 40C/104F for most parts of the country. Even hotter in some areas! So rather than sit down to a hot roast next to a fire, Christmas celebrations are typically informal affairs such as Pool parties and barbeques outside.
Since we cannot (comfortably) have a traditional 'white' Christmas, we decided to make up Christmas in July! Middle of winter for us means we CAN sit down in front of a fire and have a hearty roast. Though actual 'white' winters are uncommon (unless you're up in the few snowfields), it's the closest many Australians have to tradition Christmas weather ;)
A few gifts may be given and shared, but Christmas in July is more about the sharing and spending time with loved ones, than gifts themselves :)
