Breed type: Warmblood
Birth cap: Ph/Ex/Fan/Ph
Description: These horses are descended from mounts brought into Mordor by Morgoth when he was first exiled from Valinor. Because they were originally from the same lines as the Valinorian horses, they retain some quality of appearance and personality of their parent breed although they are a lot more aggressive toward people they don't know. Later they became common mounts for Sauron's own servants, including the Mouth of Sauron. After Mordor fell these beasts were freely roaming the lands and today they are feared by travelers who chance upon their herds.

Description: Originating in South-Central Asia and ranging all the way up to Russia and Mongolia, Yaks have been domesticated by the peoples of the Tibetan plateau for thousands of years and distinct population differences have been created between wild yaks and domesticated yaks due to humans purposefully crossbreeding them to domestic cattle.
