Email notification?

So today I was checking my email and I had an email apparently from someone telling me I had a reply to a post I was following? I'm not sure I liked that as I've only gotten 1 for 1 posting, but I not for any of the other posts. Also my name comes up on my email, and I'm not sure I like the idea of someone on hear having the ability to get my name from my email. The email is used for work purposes as well, and so my phone number as well as a link to my family's farm website (which has my address) sometimes also comes up.

It seemed weird so I figured I'd post it and see if it was legit or if there maybe was an issue. Needless to say my virus protection didn't like the email either and it has been fully deleted now, but if this is a new thing can I disable it?

If you select to watch a thread, it will send e-mail notification. That's the only way you should be getting an e-mail from these forums.

ohhhhhh, how do you watch a thread, that would make my life much easier?

Look at the very bottom of the page, in the blue, where it says subscribe topic and click on it
