Surefoot & Changing Shoes

Postby Odette » Sun Dec 12, 2010 2:46 pm

I have changed the shoes of my dressage pair from draft to traction and then back to draft and surefoot droped to 225%
Why did that happen? Aren't traction shoes supposed not to affect stats in any way?
Here are the two poor ponies: [x] [x]
I have the Grace and Glory bonus so surefoot should be 225.562%.

All shoes affect SF and movement, as well as what other stat they are meant to. That's why you can train SF and movement to 215/225, without shoes you can only reach 205/215 (If i remember right)So when you change shoes, you are in effect removing shoes, taking SF and Movement back to 205/215 and putting on the new shoes, bumping SF and Movement back to 215/225. Your bonuses won't take effect again until you train/take a turn.

So you didn't take turns after switching the shoes on the other horses and the SF bonus stayed?

Do you have this problem with draft shoes only?

happening to me as well, only with draft, traction shoes work fine... I don't technically find it to be that bad in what I am training for right now, but it is strange.

**EDIT**
well, some do it and some don't I guess, weighted shoes do it too...
