Age Bonus?

In age restricted events, I always get a bit confused as to what the age cut off really is.

If it's an "Under 8 Event", and the restriction is 2-8... does age 8 still get the age bonus? Or is it only anything under 8, which would mean 7.95 would be the last to get the age bonus? Maybe a dumb question, but I've been wondering about it.

Under 8's can go all the way to age 8.
