Offline Points question

So I wasn't sure if there is something that I'm missing or what is going on. When I try to use my offline points to raise a level of a skill, it will tell me that I will add 0 points into that skill even though I have points available for me to use. (And yes I am typing in the amount of points that I wan't to put into the skill!)
If someone could help me, I would really appreciate it!

Have you reached the 500 point max yet? (not counting any points in Horsemanship, that is a free skill)

That could be the problem. If possible, I'ld say reset that skill, and then bump it up to 100% using offline points only. Or try and finish raising the skill by hand . . .

Well it says my skill total is 499.99% even though all my skills are like around the 50% level.

Ahh. I'ld say the decimal points would definitely be the problem. Most people just tend to choose 5 skills to focus 100% on . . . I'ld still suggest resetting the skills that are like 49.889% . .. any one's with the weird percentage. Anything with a round percentage should be fine to be left. Or you could raise whichever skill you're trying to fix by hand, but given the percentage points, I'm not sure if that would work.
