Dressage

On the trial events for dressage it states intelligence is more important than strength, but I've been looking at some successful horses and it seems people prefer to train with more strength... Is the trials wrong or is it just what people prefer?

Strenght becomes hight cos people usually raise/train intelligence with Halter Activities (disciplines, movement) with their own special ways to train without changing diet, and halter raises both strenght and intelligence nicely
I am no longer able to play the game due to real life commitments. I would like to thank all my friends for the past 11 years on VHR. xx

It's also that there is no shoe that raises intell....so since strength is the second most important, you put on draft shoes for strength (means that in the under 6 classes, for instance, a horse may have 205 intel and 206 strength....which really means 205 intel and 201 strength + 5 stength from shoes). Also, as you raise intell using halter (the most efficient way to raise intel), it also raises strength, and usually once intel maxes out you start training for strength. Intel is the most important, strength second

It depends on preference too, some people like strength higher (which is fine), some like intell higher.
There doesn't seem to be a big difference between the two.

Shortly after I noticed I remembered about the shoes  I haven't played this game for ages and thinking about starting dressage although it seems to be quite competitive.

Thank you for the help Aniara, Miss Ruby and Chione.
