Levels Questions *I've looked everywhere*

I have looked everywhere and I just can't seem to find an answer, hopefully someone can explain it to me.

So the question is, what is the green number after a horses level? I've noticed, and even own lvl25 horses with a green +1 while other's have a green 0 after the lvl
What does this indicate/mean?

If anyone could explain it to me, I would really appreciate it!

Traction shoes provide a +1 in Western. Only shows on Western horses, I think. lol and I'm 90% sure it's traction shoes, might be another X.X but that's basically it. ^^

It is indeed only Traction shoes that give Western horses the +1 bonus. Many people prefer to use Traction shoes to stat maxx, cause it allowed them to max Surefoot and Movement to 225/215 while not affecting any of the other stats.
