by "locking" and "reseting" sponsor skills.What will happen if i do that?

locking is so you cant gain or loose any points, it stays at 100% skill.

Resetting is when you take that skill and take away all the points for it...so then its zero...no skill. this will allow you to choose another skill.

your only allowed 6 i think. 5 by points and 1 freebie

Yes, you can unlock it as well. The "freebie" is Horsemanship, it's the only one you don't get charged for.
