Hey guys How effective has the longevity bonus been for you when training? I'm considering filling my last open spot with it, but I'd prefer to know how worthwhile it is since I'm really racking up the removal fees...
I had it for a while. It's good, and you can finish horses a few turms early, depending on how lucky you are. I removed it, because I didn't have space for it when I reshuffled my bonuses again >.>
I had it on my eventing ranch but changed it because I ran out of room. I have it on my breeding/rolling ranch though. You do seem to get approx 2 extra turns per age year (though sometimes its once per 20 turns and sometimes its 3/4 per 20) so if rolling for 15 years for example you tend to get an extra year which can mean all the difference. It was great for events too as it meant the horses had slightly longer during their optimum age range.
I can usually get about .15 years extra. I'm finishing maxing horses at 4.75 or 4.8 when I usually get them done at 5 or just after 5. I like it. Especially when I'm breeding an older mare, all those extra turns can give her an extra baby.
