Less popular/common breeds you can break BCs on easier :D

So avoid probably most of the Warmbloods, Arabs, TBs . . .

There's a number of stock, show and Feril breeds people don't really do that could probably have their BC broken :D

And some pony breeds. I'm working on Caspians right now. Try a breed with low BC stats- it usually means that they haven't been worked on all that much.

Well IMO it couldn't be very hard to break Hackneys BC, because you can get a Hackney crossing Desc of Man o War (they have very good stats) with a lot of European ponies, like Haflinger, Conemara etc. If there's a need i can publish all breeds that crosses with Des of Man o War, they're pretty much.

I'd try for Miniatures or Karabair's. Not many people work with them. Though I'm not entirely sure if the Mini BC would break again....

Mini's strength has been stuck at fair for like 5 years o0. I've only seen a few that have been rolled to fairly good. The other stats are easily rolled though.

There's no such thing as "breaking a birthcap". I've even asked Nef about it.

So in other words, does that mean that what we call BC now may not be the true BC? We just haven't gotten anything with a true birthcap, so when we do get a foal with higher stats, we either now have the true birthcapped foal or a horse another step closer to being BC?

Pretty much. There are horses that have reached their "true" birth cap - like TBs and Arabs, and there are breeds we have to try harder with until they also reach their "true" bc.
