Dressage

Postby Paperback » Tue May 06, 2008 7:16 pm

Hello, thank you for looking, I have just recently bought a Bavarian Warmblood Stallion and trained him in Dressage and would like to know:

1. What would be the most appropriate tack for him. Currently he has no tack.

2. If there are any special diets Dressage horses should be on. Currently he is on the 35/15/35/15 diet.

3. What stats I should really look at for tweaking. I have been working on Strength and Intelligence.

4. Any other tips for putting him in the dressage events.

5. What type of shoes would make him excel in Dressage Events, if any. Right now he is wearing Draft Shoes.

If you would like to see him here is a link:

1. Saddle number 3, bridle number 4, snaffle bit, whip, spurs, and saddle pad.

2. I recommend 45/5/45/5.

3. Endurance needs to be red lettered, Intelligence needs to be much higher, and strength needs to be higher as well.

4. Start him off in age restricted events for young horses, as well as score restricted events that would put him at an advantage over the other horses.

5. Draft shoes, just like you have on him.

Next time don't train speed, it gives you more time to train the important things. =) This is my guide: http://vhrguide.silvermyst.co.uk/statmaxspeed.html and Chione has one in the training guides section. :D

Thanks :D I'll probably use that stallion for breeding purposes or something then and try another horse following that guide, or I might just sell him to someone who could make better use of him.
