Sadie the Pit & Pea the Bowing Mare

I love the title, hehehe. I had to xD Yesturday I rode Pea once again and shes almost not lame no more Almost.. she didnt feel off but some other girl said she looked off, but she always walks like a duck because of her confirmation. Bred for Halter, competing in Hunter, hahaha. Anyways.. we maybe spent a total of 40 minutes, if that, spread across three days of trying to get Pea to bow. Finally we got it, she bent her leg Mum took the pics on her phone so sorry for the quality :]

And now for Sadie. Heres her story..
She came from a breeder of Blue Brindle Pits, she got purchased by a loving family, but the family ended up being allergic to her. Once the family confirmed Sadie was deaf, they gave up on training. The family gave Sadie back to the breeder, but the Dad dog (I dont know if they call them Sire's like horses xD) didn't like Sadie. So they gave her to the groomer to try to find a home. My brother Ben owns a Yellow Labrador stud named Brady, some of you know him. Ben went to see Sadie and fell in love with her, though shes unfixed. So Sadie's on trial at Bens. The two dogs get along, but hes listening to me (FINALLY) and getting Brady 'clipped'. He's going to spade Sadie too I gave him the whole 'pet over population' thing and such. Even though I think Brady would be an excellent stud, its for the better. So yea, heres Sadie, the 11 months old Pit:] Shes a sweet heart and is all white with a blue/gray nose and a black heart on her butt. I have more pictures on my camera but my brother took it to New York

I wish I could teach my mare to bow... It just doesn't work... I've tried for weeks straight... Eventually, I just gave up and moved on to something else lol

And your dog is gorgeous.. I've always loved pits

Haha thank youu guys:) Yea Sadie's a sweetheart, and I love her heart too. Pea caught on pretty quickly, I held a treat between her to front legs, under her barrel, and teased her with it to get her to follow it down, then I held the treat very close to the ground untill the bent, and gave her the treat while she was in that position. I also held the lead inbetween her front legs & low to encourage her:] Hope that helps if you ever want to try once again xD
