I Need Help...

Okay, I have been teaching myself HTML coding, and how to make layouts, I have been doing pretty good. But I need help with getting a text box too the exact spot i want it to go. I Know the allignments a stuff, but it still won't go to the spot i want it to, it's eaither up down, or in the middle, left or right but never "alittle bit more to the left, right, up or down". I tried looking at other people's Text box on a picture and theirs has the allignments and stuff that i tried but it's in the certain spot that i needs to be. When I try to do it I won't go where i want it. So, does anybody know how this works? Maybe someone with more experiance?

And also I need help with putting more than one Text box on a picture with out messing up the one i have on there.

I could possibly help, can you post the coding?

And I usually use photoshop for multiple text boxes on pictures and get the coding automatically, so I can't really help you with that.

Sure, here ya go↓ But as you can see I already have one text box that i got from tintedglass but i want another one on the side where it says "Extras" So i want a text box there. And can you tell me what Adobe you use? I have been wanting it for some time.

I use Adobe Photoshop 7
Basically for that is, you create the text box, then use the slice tool to create the slice for where your text is supposed to go, and then create slices for the area around your text box. Each of these slices is a different picture url in the html that photoshop creates for the table, unless the text box is just a color.

And if you're using tintedglass, maybe try doing that same picture with the text box for extras instead, and combining the two. I think that would work, all you need to do is add the table part from the <TABLE> tag to the </TABLE> tag to the coding you listed.

And I tried what you said for me to do, and it turns out that all the text boxes go into the wrong places and my picture gets extended. :\
Do you recomend I should get Photoshop, or do you have another idea?

I would just use Photoshop or get help from someone who knows how to code over pictures [I have no clue how to do that manually lol]

Also, do you have the text boxes set to where if they have more text, they have scroll bars? Or where it extends the picture?

For the scroll bars so your picture doesn't extend, you can use this code and put it above the coding you have. With the #000000's, just change them to whatever color you'd like. You can use hexcolor.com for a color code. Black is #000000 and White is #FFFFFF:

I have the scroll box.
But If i put two scroll boxes together on the same picture, one goes down really low and the picture over laps, so-to-say. Not really, extends. Idk how to explain it. But everything just gets jumbled up...like this...
