Stock horses beating out Sports... in racing?

I don't know, I'm very confused right now. I was looking through completed racing events, and there are stock horses that are consistently beating out sport horses in regular racing sprint events as well as open ones.

These stocks are older too.. like 7-9. =/ These events don't have any restrictions on them either.

So am I missing something, or is there something weird going on here? O.o

Don't know without seeing stats and such, but sport breeds are supposed ot have the larger bonus in sprint and stock the smaller bonus.

Stock gets the main bonus for sprint. Sport gets the main bonus for track.

Either the trial's wrong, or the event has been set up wrong, but sprint has always given stock horses the main bonus.
