Can't Assign Rider

I can't assign a rider to events, could yesterday but I can't today. It might have messed up from the update today, and this is all event types I believe. This horse that I'm trying to enter has an assigned rider. So she should just enter like all my others have done.
I love the updates, especially the vet services one
But obviously with big updates there will be some small complications.
