Well, they ARE supposed to take a heavy penalty, that is why I posted this... they wont always come in dead last, but generally they only come in above horses that just are not trained for the event at all... which I think is fair enough... but yeah, they should not be (and would not have been in the past) winning. lol. sounds like it is being fixed however...

I wouldn't personally mind the horses being automatically pulled either, but I haven't a CLUE how difficult that might be to add to the game... and right now the only way I think is for the OPs to have to do it by hand. D:

Indeed, could be either too hard or maybe even impossible..
I am no longer able to play the game due to real life commitments. I would like to thank all my friends for the past 11 years on VHR. xx

Yes, but I have been talking about horses WAY over... mine that I spoke of was something like .75 years over! That is not a horse that should be taking second place!

That was the one that made me the most sure that something wasn't right... especially because I could prove that it hadn't been aged after the events ran because it was (embarrassingly) my own horse.

still seeing horses more than a year over age placing in events...

someone help me out with a screen shot? I know that it is supposed to depend on HOW over aged and everything but a 7.4 year old horse has been placing in under SIX year events...

http://www.virtualhorseranch.com/events ... ent=557685

I can not get a screen shot to work for me to save my life... again, not complaining that my horse isn't taking higher places, only thinking that the age penalty is really not working...

Thanks, I was afraid to say anything again... I am turning into the person that stalks ages... but I thought it was best to say something since it was another big age difference.
