All search functions have been disabled since they are the cause of the forums breaking. They will remain disabled until Nef can get the issue fixed.

i thought Nef did that before and then after a while they "broke" again and since that wasn't the problem she brought them back?

That was on the old forums. But if you notice the error coming up this time is specifically one regarding the search function. Basically, every time a person searches anything at all, it creates a cache and stores this search info. The search database gets too huge so Nef has to find a away to enable search without it doing this and lagging the server down which in turn causes the errors and lag in the game as well since they're on the same server. So for now, the option was either no search or no forums... I think living without search for a while is more manageable. lol

Thanks for the explanation Hawk - anything to prevent the lag in game has to be good.

Im not sure how im going to cope in forums though, I used to rely on new posts!

ahh i gotcha...well at least it has a little dot next to each topic we've replied to...so that will help as to keeping up a lil better than last time

I dont know if its related but im having a nightmare doing a marketplace search and the results not loading (not because its too big)
