Missing Horse in Contract Screen

I'm trying to lease my stallion to another account to try my hand at eventing a horse for the first time, but no matter what I do, he doesn't show up in the drop down menu to select. I've moved him in and out of the stables and pasture experimenting to see if I could get it to work, but I couldn't. Meanwhile, I moved a filly over from pasture, and she showed up in the dropdown box right away.

I'm new, so I may not know all the rules about contracts, so forgive me if posting in the bug section is wrong. Is there some reason why my stallion wouldn't be eligible for leases (other than being in the pasture, because he is in the stables as we speak).

You need to take him down from stud and put him in your stable

Contracts can only be made when:
- the horse is in the stable
- the horse is NOT for sale or for stud
