Longevity Bug?

Postby Midn1ghtskyz » Sat Feb 14, 2009 2:44 am

Now I have the Longevity bonus. And before, it used to work. Sometimes the horse wouldn't age every so and so turns. But now it just doesn't happen at all. Is there a bug with it? :(

My horses skip aging still... I don't think its a bug, I think its just limited. Try turning a crappy for a bit and see if it skips days, use that as a test and put a ticket through if it doesn't age at all... that's the only thing I can think of...

Mine is working. It does prefer to work on other peoples horses though, and doesn't care to give my horses much of a break

Yeah I was training two horses and nothing happened. I didn't have any that said so and so horse didn't age.

Before this, I had the didn't age thing happen every once in a while...

Interesting. I just bought a test horse and did that. from 0.1 to 2yrs old it occured once. Normal right? And about every 10 turns or so to get the don't age?

Maybe I was training so fast that I didn't see that

I believe it says "5% chance" not to age...meaning it is basically random. Five times out of a hundred it shouldn't age...but then again, if you flip a coin 100 times the averages say 50 of those 100 it will be heads but go ahead and DO IT, and you'll very rarely get a 50/50 split. ;)

I had one horse who didn't age for like four turns, and another who only didn't age once in the entire time I trained him. It seems pretty random. ;) I doubt it is a bug, just bad luck.

It's very random. Sometimes it might not age 3 times in a row and sometimes it might age for 30 turns before not ageing, I don't think it's a bug either.

Oh okay then. Because I'm pretty sure for a horse I was training until 15 she never had the didn't age thing.
Anyway, thanks guys :)

I've trained about 5 horses in a row without a horse not aging even once. Sorry about the double negatives. :/ Rar. I dunno. I might take it off, it almost isn't even worth it.
