Adding and Disappearing act

I haven't saved any screen shots or anyting like that but was wondering if anyone has had this happen.
I bet on a horse in an event (not necessary to win or anything) and the event is run and the horse and bet are not showing in the results. And, the race hasn't necessarily been full when I placed the bet.
Also events aren't showing as full when 20 horses are entered and some allow adding more.

Events fill at 30 horses. Maybe the horse was withdrawn, or if the event is very full, only the first 15/20 horses are shown, so the horse must have placed lower than that.
