Problem with shoes

I have a trainoff horse that had speed at 205.3 with traction shoes. I added titanium shoes, and the speed did not change... now if I remove the titanium shoes, the speed drops to 200.3.....

Can this be fixed? This will pretty much ruin this horse's career to be at 205 speed while the competition is at 210....

that happened with draft shoes with me, i would've had it at 211, then when i refreshed it was only 206 >.>
