I bought a horse with tack, and i decided to putt he tack on a different horse, and then the tack disapeared. I checked thorough my inventory, and i got the other person to check theirs, but neither of us had it. It was very strange..... tthis has happened multiple times.

Yeah, for some reason, if you the tack off the horse, it just disappears.

I think you mean whoever purchased and offically "owned" the tack?
For my horses I move them to different accounts and remove all tack and it goes back to my main account (where I had purchased them).

The sad reality is that the only time tack is actually yours to put on as many different horses you want is when you purchase directly from the marketplace or make it yourself. If you send your horse to another person to have tack put on, ultimately you can never remove it from that horse or it will go directly back to the person who put the tack on originally.

Yes- I've made TONS of tack and would oftgen have people just send horses to me via contract to put tack on. Then I would notice that my inventory of tack would at times mysteriously increase because people would remove that tack and it would come back to me.

If I offer tack sets- usually will do it for free if I have time. But mostly now I just list the tack on the marketplace so that it doesn't come back.

On a positive note- I can randomly clear out 'tack packaged' horses that have been sent to retirement as they do show up on my inventory as being used by XXX horse.
