I totally thought money grubber meant you got more money for hosting events, I didn't realize it meant you got more of the prize money...

Hopefully people running train/event offs are outlawing the use of this bonus, otherwise I'm not sure how it would be fair.

Yes I realised that. Im in a few trainoffs based on earnings and the person in the lead has that particular bonus which I think does make it unfair but there isnt much you can do about it unfortunately

There is a different bonus to get more money from hosting events

I know I'm one of those people with the bonus, but I chose it with trainoffs in mind. It is entirely fair to have it as it is an option to everyone.

SilverGem- some of us made ranches private just so that competitors couldn't see what bonuses we were using to win. I would suggest doing some experimenting with the bonuses to figure out what ones you need for your horses.

It's fair. If you have money grubber, you have to lose a stat boosting comp skill. I don't have it and I count on that fact . 220k is still better than 181k :) Get that skill on a powerhouse like Lori and you've got problems lol but just like any other train offs in the past, learn how to defeat your opponent.

livelifelow, yes, I am doing some experimenting with the bonuses.

Does anyone know how energy plays into competition results? I am wondering if there is an unexpected side benefit of having Rest-Less, since when you train a horse with high endurance each train is actually increasing net energy (so your horse ends up with energy above 100%). That is the only possibility I haven't been able to test out yet.

So, if your energy level is well above 100% before you take a turn, does the turn reset it all the back down to 100%, or is it possible to end up slightly above 100% at the start of your next turn?
