Dressage Question

Postby Gyaza » Fri May 30, 2008 12:05 pm

It seems I've hit an inquisitive streak.

I was looking over the results from a Dressage competition I put one of my horses in and I can't figure out why I placed the way I did. My horse had a better stats than the horse who did win. Maybe someone who's been at this a while can shed some light on it?

This is my horse:

And this is the horse that won:

This is the result of the event:

Is there something that effects placement that I'm not aware of? Thanks!

There is a randomizer. Seems that Dressage is one of the most random events. The event score also has to do with the way a horse places - the higher, the better.

Thanks.

That's odd about the randomizer, though, I wouldn't have thought it would have such a big effect.

Edit: Oh, one other thing. What else effects a dressage score besides stats? Or is it just luck of the draw entirely?

Experience plays a role, too. If you have a horse that has 123000 score, he'll usually do better than a 15000 score even if the stats/age are the same.

Dressage is pretty random, though. 3-Day is worse, and Gymkhana is completey wacky.

Gosh, I just looked at this, and my horse(who place last) has better stats than the winner as well.

I had no clue Dressage was that random....
