How to activate a new layout?

Hi,

maybe a silly question, but: I have read a lot about layouts and I am able to make my own but how could I integrate them into my farm?
I have read the FAQ:

How do I make a layout for my ranch page?
VHR does not provide HTML support for building layouts, but there are plenty of good resources on the web – just try searching for “HTML tutorial” or “HTML help”. Once you’ve got the code you want to put onto your ranch, click “My Ranch” in the left menu bar, then “Edit Ranch”. There is a large box that you’ll need to paste the code into – then click the “Edit Ranch” button near the bottom of the page.

but I can't find the "Edit ranch" button or link. Do I need to have a sponsored account to do it?

put the mouse pointer over my horses and 3 things will pop down and click search horses and where the gride box thing is its there next to ranch apperance it willl say edit ranch.

You can also just click on the management link, lol.
