Sponsor expiry question..

Postby Dawn442 » Tue Mar 25, 2008 10:13 am

I was just wondering, what happens to an account once the sponsor of it expires..

I'm wondering, cause one of mine will be expiring in a few months, and I don't know if I want to renew it. It's basically a holding account for studs, so of course there's about 100 horses on the account.

Do I have to move them to another sponsor account, or would they be ok where they are once the sponsor runs out?

This is something I've never known the answer to.. lol =)

well nothing bad will happen to your horsies. But once oyu are reduced to a novice, with 100+ horsies on that ranch, you won't be able to take a turn due to the amount of animals on that ranch.

I am considering upgrading my stud ranch for just that reason

You will also probably have minus turns. It's happened to Missing and a few other people who's accounts have expired.

Interesting.. Do you know if it mattered the amount of horses that were on the account..?

In any sense, I think I have enough novice accounts that are sitting empty, I could just spread them out, if I decided I didn't want to get rid of them. I'm not sure why I have the amount of horses I do anyways..lol

You're also supposed to just go back to 3 novice accounts I'm afraid, which gives you a maximum of 60 horses. I don't think it's the number of horses on the account that matters. As a novice you get 1 turn every 24 hours (I think), so how many turns you've gone over that as a sponsor, is the number you'll be minus when it downgrades. For example, I have a novice account and a sponsor approximately the same age. Since I don't take turns on the novice account, I have - Turns Available: 16897 but on my sponsor I have taken Day #90949 so if I downgraded right now, I'd have -74052 turns available. Hope that makes sense. =)

lol, yes, that does, thank you Mythara..^^

I have 4 other sponsors besides that one (+ 2 that are event hosting only sponsors, but they run out in June), so I'm not too too concerned about only being able to keep 60+/- horses..
