Competition Scores

Postby evermore » Sat Feb 09, 2008 3:54 pm

OK exactly how are they earned because I was in a trainoff where the horse I had had won a lot but a horse that barely won anything (comparatively) had a higher competition score.

other horse http://www.virtualhorseranch.com/viewho ... se=1430004

So what's the deal?

*coughs*

I think it has to do with the number of horses that are entered into the event. The more competing, the more points you get?

You get a certain number of competition scoring points for every event you are in. So since the other horse had 274 events and your horse had less, it had a higher score.

No need to  lol.. I just can't wrap my stupid head around how these horses got the comp scores they did :D

and Free the difference in the number of events is minimal I wouldn't think 5 events would make a 15,000 comp score difference.

Thanks guys for helping :)

I wouldn't think so either. But they are in dressage. I think you get different points for the different levels that the event can be. Maybe you entered more training events while she entered a few more grand prix?
